Bernard Williams conference at University of Chicago

A conference is being organized at the University of Chicago to honor the work of Bernard Williams, a great friend of many of us at the Center for Ethics and Culture. Professor Alasdair MacIntyre will be one of the main speakers. The conference is entitled "Ethics and the Place of Philosophy: The Legacy of Bernard Williams's Critique" and it will be held October 28-29th. It is being organized by Jonathan Lear with support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Registration is free but required for all participants. Space is limited, so register soon. You can learn more about the conference here and register here.
