Integritas: Integrating scholarship, spirituality, and service in the Christian intellectual tradition--application period now open!

The Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture is launching Integritas, a new student formation program, this fall, designed to integrate the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. 10-15 students will have the opportunity to participate in dynamic seminars, engage in service in the South Bend community, worship together, and make a retreat.

Beginning after Fall Break, participants will:
  • Participate in monthly seminars to reflect on central texts in the Christian intellectual tradition, led by guest professors.
  • Deepen their spiritual lives through liturgies and a Lenten retreat.
  • Engage in service in the South Bend community to put their faith into action
  • Visit Chicago to enjoy the culture the city offers.
  • Create an intellectual community of professors and students with a vibrant Christian spirit.

We are accepting applications now! Download our application and submit it via email to ghannan@nd.edu or via campus mail to 1047 Flanner Hall. Participation is open to current undergraduate students at the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College, and Holy Cross College who can commit to Integritas October 2010-May 2011. Activities will typically be scheduled for Thursday evenings, along with occasional weekend outings. Applications are due by September 30, 2010, and we will respond to applicants by October 8, 2010. Integritas will open with a Mass and dinner on Thursday, November 4.
