Film Screening: "Nine Days That Changed the World"

The Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture is screening the documentary "Nine Days that Changed the World" in Washington Hall on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 7 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies.

We are honored to host Newt and Callista Gingrich on campus as they visit to present their documentary about Pope John Paul II's historic nine-day pilgrimage to his native Poland in June of 1979 to support the Solidarity workers' movement. His visit created a revolution of conscience that transformed Poland and fundamentally reshaped the spiritual and political landscape of the twentieth century. Please join us for this very special occasion! The film screening is free and open to the public.
